Q. Did you Photoshop the images ?

No. All B&W images are scans of prints that have been developed by hand in the darkroom from hand-processed negatives, while the color images are typically scans from slide film.

Q. Why are the pictures too dark /too light ?

The images on this site have been calibrated to a web standard gamma of 2.2 .

Uncalibrated Macintosh computers have a gamma of 1.8 and will tend to render the images lighter; while uncalibtrated Windows computers have a gamma of 2.5 and will tend to render the images darker.

Q. Can I order prints for images not currently exhibited ?

A. Yes. However, some image sources may not be suitable for prints beyond a certain size. You can send an order query with details of your desired print size and I'll check the image source and advise accordingly.

Q. How do I contact you?

A. Click on the (Contact) link at the bottom right of this page and a window will pop-up with a form and email addresses. You may have to disable any pop-up blocking software you have running for it to work. I no longer that information on a page to prevent those details from being harvested by more marketers and spammers.
